Harrison Haight was my great-great-great-great grandfather. To the best of my knowledge, he was born in 1797 in the United States. He came north in the early 1800s and settled in Little Britain, Ontario. He died in 1877.

Hi,
I’m trying to trace Harrison Haight’s family in Ontario all the way down to Vera Gertrude Haight b. November 1896, Manitoba. She was the daughter of John Hannson or Harrison Haight b. 1860 in Ontario and grand-daughter of Joseph G. Haight, who was Harrison’s son.
Can you provide any info about any of these people, please
Hi Vera was my aunt. I think I have traced my male ancestors back to around 1620, when they first landed in the states. What do you want to know? Not sure if her grandfather was John Harrison or just Harrison. jim
Hi Paul,
I’ve got Joseph G in my notes but beyond his name I don’t have much more than that. I haven’t really spent much time working on lines other than my direct one at this point – but if I come across anything else in my research, I’ll let you know. (I did just post on Harrison Haight (see #47 in my 52 Ancestors posts) and that’s about everything I know about him…)
Thanks for your comment,
Jen
